The National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC) distributed egg cards to around 100 beneficiaries from Wardhannapet, Parvathagiri and Inavolu mandals in the Wardhannapet Assembly constituency.
The programme was held at Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Poultry Farm, where former Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, former MLA Aroori Ramesh, Errabelli Vineeth Rao, chairman of the Errabelli Pradeep Rao Charitable Trust, and youth leader Aroori Vishal distributed the egg cards to the beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion, they said eggs provide high-quality protein along with essential vitamins, minerals and other nutrients required by the body. They noted that eggs are beneficial for children’s growth, muscle development and energy requirements.
They urged people to make use of eggs as an affordable food source that provides high nutritional value. NECC General Manager Dr Ezil Kumar, Rajeev, poultry farmers Subrahmanyam and Dileep Rao, along with local leaders, poultry farmers, beneficiaries and activists, were present at the programme.
