Senior officials of the Telangana government on Friday inspected the progress of construction work at the Super Speciality Hospital being built in Warangal and reviewed the status of various infrastructure facilities.
The officials who visited the hospital construction site included Vikas Raj, Special Chief Secretary to the Government, Transport, Roads and Buildings Department; N. Sridhar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO); K. Manik Raj, Secretary to the CMO; and Dr. Gaurav Uppal, Secretary, Finance and Planning Department.
During the inspection, the officials enquired about the current status of construction, the progress of various hospital blocks, infrastructure facilities, electricity and water supply, and other related aspects.
They examined the ongoing works in detail and reviewed the quality of the work completed so far. They instructed the officials concerned to ensure that the remaining works were completed in a planned and coordinated manner.
The officials stressed the need to maintain quality standards at every stage of construction and directed the authorities to regularly monitor the progress of the project.
They also instructed the departments concerned to coordinate all necessary arrangements to ensure that the hospital, once operational, provides advanced medical services to people in the erstwhile Warangal district and neighbouring areas.
Warangal District Collector Dr. Satya Sharada and Hanamkonda District Collector Chahat Bajpai welcomed the senior officials by presenting them with bouquets.
Officials from the concerned departments and representatives of the construction company were also present.
